Description
The life and times of three not so jolly postmen, centering on Stan, a sullen ladies' man who has been deserted by his wife. Stan makes up for his losses by having affairs with his co-workers' wives. This is England as it is rarely shown, a patchwork of bitter individuals, isolated by class, unconsoled in marriage and pigeon-holed by the state.
